Hero Siege Gabriel Guide: The Modern Uber Still Being Documented
Uber Gabriel's full unlock chain and location are not yet community-documented. Here is the confirmed loot, the known entry condition, and how to prepare anyway.

The Uber Layer’s One Unfinished Page
Gabriel is the outlier of Hero Siege’s modern Uber layer. Amun Ra has a documented material chain. Luna has a documented quest flow. Gabriel has a reputation, a loot list and fragments of an entry condition — and that is where the community’s notes stop.
This page does not fill that gap with guesses. It says so plainly, then does the work that is actually possible: telling you what is confirmed, and how to walk into an undocumented fight prepared rather than optimistic. The Uber roster overview is the map; this is a page about a region of it that is still foggy.
What Is Actually Confirmed
Three things are documented, and they are worth having in one place:
- His loot list. Five community-reported drops: Gabriel’s Broken Resolve, Gabriel’s Unholy Oath, Gabriel’s Dauntless Vision, Gabriel’s Broken Wings and The Hope Ender. If you are chasing a specific piece, this is the list.
- His entry condition, in part. Community notes point to a Bifröst Key paired with a task gated on a kill count — the Fortune Told Quest. How those two connect to a concrete location is the missing link.
- His attacks, recorded. Three patterns have been recorded: an annihilation beam, summons of Fallen heretics, and a Shadow attack. Nothing more precise than that has settled into community consensus.
That is the whole confirmed record. Anything beyond it, on any site, is either a guess or a first-hand clip you should watch yourself.
What a Kill Count Requirement Means for You
The one fragment that has practical value right now is the Fortune Told Quest kill count. If the entry condition is task-gated rather than purely key-gated, then your preparation includes finishing a kill requirement before the door opens — which means the fight is not something you can stumble into with a key alone.
The practical consequence: while the chain is unmapped, the safe move is to hold a Bifröst Key and clear the prerequisite quests you can find. If the community maps the chain next patch, you are ready; if you spend the season grinding toward the missing piece instead, you have lost nothing.

Preparing for a Fight Nobody Has Written Down
An undocumented fight is not an un-preparable fight. The preparation for a modern-layer Uber is stable regardless of the specific patterns:
- Finish the build before the attempt, not during it. The modern layer punishes half-finished transitions. If your slots are still mixed Heroic work, the Satanic core comes first.
- Assume a greedy-positioning check. Of the three recorded attacks, the summons and the beam both reward players who move before they are told to. Build in the durability discipline the layer demands.
- Expect the loot to be worth it. “The Hope Ender” and the rest of the Gabriel list sit in the modern layer’s drop band — above campaign gear, below the Season 10 trio. The reason to solve his chain, when it is solved, is a real one.
- Watch fresh kill footage, not old guides. Until written documentation stabilizes, the fastest legitimate source is a recent kill clip — the same readiness habit the rest of the endgame demands.
Where This Page Goes Next
When the community finishes mapping Gabriel’s chain — the Bifröst step, the quest link, the actual zone — this page gets the treatment the other two modern Ubers already have: unlock chain, phase breakdown and a boss stat card verified in-game. Until then, the honest position is the one on this page: known loot, known fragments, and no invented geography.
Gabriel FAQ
Is Gabriel harder than Amun Ra and Luna?
There is no reliable community consensus on a difficulty ranking within the modern layer, because his fight is the least documented of the three. Do not let a site rank him confidently — the material to rank him is not there yet. Prepare as if he is a full modern-layer check, which he is.
Should I farm Gabriel before or after the classic trio?
After. The classic trio — Damien, Reaper and Sung Lee — is the layer below, and it is where the build gets finished and the farming income comes from. Treating Gabriel as a first target, before the build is stable, is how the attempt turns into a shopping trip.
Why not just skip Gabriel until a guide exists?
Because the loot does not wait, and neither does your build. If you can confirm the chain in-game, the fight is a legitimate part of the modern rotation regardless of how thin the written record is. What you should not do is fabricate a strategy from a half-remembered clip — verify, then commit.
